I failed an attention check, got a rejection...it sucks. I rarely miss them. Emailed the requester, he was super nice about even providing a screen shot and going overboard to show me how I screwed up. I asked to have my results removed, since I wasn't getting paid. He responded with:

Not a problem. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Your deidentified data will be removed from the dataset, alongside data from any other participants who failed attention checks.
