oh yeah this shit happened to me a bunch with them. i'm getting annoyed with prolific too, they recently stopped letting you accept more than one survey at a time and for whatever reason the Return this study button doesn't show up for me anymore, or maybe they removed it, so i've had surveys with long timers that i didn't want to do prevent me from accepting any other surveys until it expires
