Horrible idea.

Out of all of the shoes you could buy for a baby Converse are the worst. They have no arch support and they don't bend enough for a baby to move their feet or learn to walk.
Much better to find soft soled shoes.

Converse makes soft-soled one star crib shoes. That's what we had. Or is that not helping in this case?

I'm pretty sure they don't actually make legit rubber soled canvas shoes for babies that just sounds unhealthy. Probably a converse looking one with a soft sole

They make both. But the "soft-soled one star crib shoes" don't have the hard soles.
