We're only allowed to be called every two years. I've served twice. I keep hoping they'll lose my address.

We can only serve on a jury or as an alternate every 2 years here, but we can get called every 3 months or something like that. It's ridiculous.
My husband got 2 letters in a year once, got sent home the 1st time and then 5 months later he served.

ok, so thats about 7-8 surveys in a row not completed from being kicked, told I've done it with nothing in DB, being a Mac Mini that's a mobile device or just plain broken....what the heck is going on??

We get paid $17 for jury duty here each day. I take a cab to the train station and, pay for a train. Once off the train, I walk about 10 city blocks, which is kind of scary, because it is still dark in the morning. I buy my lunch (cash only, so I better be prepared). Rinse, repeat. It's a 10 hour day minimum. I believe it is my duty to serve; however, at this stage of my life, I believe I should be exempt, since I don't drive, and people, trains and crowds scare me. I could get a medical exemption, but I can't afford health insurance to pay for the doctor's appointment.

I think it's because Requesters don't know how to set their HIT limits. The other day someone said they emailed a requester about not being able to participate and the requester responded that they weren't aware their HIT was blocking people that had completed just one of their different HITs.

Is there an Imagus-like extension for speech research? Otherwise I think opening a new tab for 12 clips per 10 cent HIT is just way too annoying for my taste.

I just got this today, but it's really helping with hits like this. It's on sale still, and a really nice mouse. I set one of the buttons on the side to close the current tab, another to perform a macro of ctrl click to open a hit in a new tab, and another for refresh, and still have one more. It's making this type of hit much more bearable.
