mine is Manic panic super dark blue....... except its green and getting greener by the day. oh well lol

Yeah, blues are notorious for fading out quickly. A hairdresser friend told me it's because of some weird Sciency Thing about how it penetrates the hair shaft, and reds get in there deeper and hang on for dear life (and something about creating bigger molecules, but I've forgotten). When I dyed my hair blue-black, it faded to this (still cool) grayish black in no time at all. With hot pinks or reds, it seems to cling to the red that's already in my hair and take forever to go away.

And now I'm fighting the urge to dye my hair again after a four year hiatus..
