Congratulations to those of us that DID NOT get Masters. Because we're going to continue working and making money without Amazon's arbitrary Private Club qualification. Non-masters rock and we deserve to feel proud of ourselves, too. I mean, it's not like these new Masters even know what they did to get it, right?

did you guys who just got masters - did you do those non-masters amazon hits? the ones that some of us were thinking that we should do them just in case. they were simple and had a low cap, I think the cap was about 10. they posted several batches that stayed up for awhile due to the cap. also I did get suspicious of that big batch of masters amazon cat hits that were up last week. that hasn't been normal for years.

Didn't do those but I did do a non-masters Amazon categorization batch recently. Req was Amazon Requester Inc - browse classification.

I really don't think there is a rhyme or reason to it. There's too many of us to have done anything special. It's probably just whoever hasn't gotten pinged by AR - WA (I assume they still exist, but all HITs are hidden) passed the test.

My last two weeks have been basically all Kevin Dodds.

I think that happened to @Blue? Or he got an email saying he had Masters but couldn't do Masters HITs for awhile? Something like that.

I got the emails saying I had the various masters qualifications... but it took something like 2 weeks of trading emails with support to actually get the quals applied to my account, if I remember correctly. That was a long time ago.

I'd say problematic booze habits triggers Masters, but if that was true they would give them out every day.

I'm using this as a down payment on my yacht now that I'm Masters and whatnot...

I got the emails saying I had the various masters qualifications... but it took something like 2 weeks of trading emails with support to actually get the quals applied to my account, if I remember correctly. That was a long time ago.

So like, typical MTurk sorta stuff.

I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but I worked on a batch last week that was 30 hits from a new requester. I figured out after they rejected 3 of my hits and contacting them, that it was an Amazon employee high enough up to be involved in handing out masters.
