Do you guys think amazon tunes into the forum to see all the puppets dance when they give out masters?

I think they tune into the forum to see what kind of chicken @kryss prepared today.

Guess the secret is that having Masters doesn't actually make turking any more, y'know, "enjoyable."

I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but I worked on a batch last week that was 30 hits from a new requester. I figured out after they rejected 3 of my hits and contacting them, that it was an Amazon employee high enough up to be involved in handing out masters.

Huh? You emailed a requester about rejections and got a reply from someone at Amazon about Masters?

I didn't get to share my masters email with everyone because I wasn't on this forum back when I got it. So here is the one for photo moderation (back then, we got two separate emails, one for categorization and one for photo)

What a roller coaster of emotions you must have experienced! Everytime I get an alert I'm afraid to open it.

I was so excited but then so, so sad. On top of the 2 rejections I got this week will go down as my saddest week in mturk history.

I'm at 11 months and 85,250 approved, 14 rejections. I am so happy, but scared it's all a joke . . .

I've got a bunch more hits than you, but also quite a few more rejections. I dont think either has anything to do with who gets it.

Total, counting Masters and non-Masters? The estimates are around 20k, but that's a rough estimate since different researchers do their estimates differently and define "active" differently.

Peoples who say they didn't get it. Did you guys just try accepting a masters hit? Also curious how many approved hits you guys have.(not like means anything)

63,663 approved HITs and 44 rejections ... I got an e-mail at 4:36pm.
