Okay guys, here is the info for the upcoming Stanford HCI Challenge from the Slack channel-

hi @channel! We will be hosting the "fall prevention challenge" on Thursday and Friday. On Thursday you will work with your team from 2PM to 5PM ET (11am to 1pm PT) to complete the first three phases (empathize, define, ideate). On Friday you will work on the second two phases (prototype, test) on your own schedule.

If you would like to join this challenge you don't need to do anything right now. Just show up on Thursday at the right time. We'll post the challenge link here.

If you would like to be a facilitator for your group please join the channel: #facilitator-queue you will be in charge of facilitating conversations, making sure the deliverables get completed, and on Friday you will be in charge of creating prototype storyboards.

What is a slack email or slack notification?

Slack is an online chatroom/messaging service used for companies to work on projects together, or just to shoot the shit. The requester Stanford HCI uses it to do some of their projects. I got the qual about two months ago after doing two short qualifying hits for them- one on a background in art and one on experience with people with disabilities. After I received the qual, I was then given instructions to sign up on slack and access their channel. I'm not sure how everyone else received the qual or if they had a qual hit up for this particular project. It seems to be rather short notice, so they might not have put up any new qual hit for this one.
