For those that have moved....realistically how long should it take to pack up an entire house? ~ 3,500 sqft....I'm so overwhelmed I don't even want to start.

How much time do you have? It takes a while but if you can give yourself extra time it doesn't feel as overwhelming

We haven't even listed it on MLS yet ( my best friends sister is our realtor) and we have two full offers already....one wants to close mid-june and the other ASAP

I do it over the course of a week and start in rooms of stuff we don't use and put the last things away morning of. But I have moving down to a science and enjoy boxing up stuff and throwing out crap. I think I have moved 22 times in my 33 years last time I counted

we're moving in with my MIL while our house is being built lol so I'm trying to delay to process but the more I seem to do the more junk I find ( like we have 14 backpacks / duffle bags) who does that lol

We haven't even listed it on MLS yet ( my best friends sister is our realtor) and we have two full offers already....one wants to close mid-june and the other ASAP

Oh wow that awesome. I would start now! Box of everything you don't need. Last time we moved I had 30 days and started early so by the final day when we had movers coming it wasn't horrible.

I am a minimalist after many moves but you need to do it with the way you can work. Just set yourself a goal such as 6 boxes a day to pack.

I had a smaller house, and I got rid of a LOT of stuff. But it took me at least 2 weeks to plan out. I suppose in an emergency, I could have done it in a week. I used PODS, btw and they were great (packed the whole thing myself - which was hard, but I did it
