What's the cheapest way to buy a new monitor? Is that something you can get used from like a pawn shop, or should I buy new? My second monitor is starting to go out and I honestly CANNOT be without a second monitor!! I have no clue how old my current one is. My brother gave it to me 3 years ago. Today it took almost an hour to come on When I turned my computer on the power light on the monitor kept flashing different colors at me for about an hour and then it finally started working. What do y'all suggest... I'm beyond broke at the moment and already have a $700 turk goal this week

Most monitors on CL creep up into what you can buy a new one for unless they are 10 years old. I looked yesterday and most 19" square monitors were like 25 bucks, with 24" used monitors people were asking $100 (new prices)

Another thing you can try is a cheap used tv on CL. Small TVs are usually less expensive than monitors new and used.
