Yea, but a lot of times a ten minute 25 minute survey only takes three minutes to do. I have found a lot of times, the requesters misoverestimate their survey times.

good for you! If I can make a suggestion though, adjust your w4 so at the end of the year you owe nothing and get next to nothing back. Let that money work for you instead of giving the government an interest free loan.

I already did! My job was randomly taking $200/week on top of regular taxes. When I finally caught it, I sent them a new tax form and they fixed it the week after, but between full time school and work, it took me a month or two to notice. Doesn't help that I'm in a new country and I'm completely confused by the tax system here.

yea, it's confusing on purpose. so you have to either use a tax accountant or software, both lobbied hard against any tax reform bill that simplifies the process
