Any qual can make a difference, not just masters. Determination and skill is much more important than any qual anyway, IMO. The majority of the people that I see posting $100+ days around here every day, like @Kadauchi, @C to the J, @GinaMarie, etc don't have masters.

@CloudNine and @P L A Y E R 9 1 also do those types of numbers without masters
