I was pretty accommodating. I'd tell people up front what I was after and if they weren't amenable I'd throw out a second or even third choice. If they didn't like those I'd just go along with what they were into. I figure as long as the interaction is under a minute it's still a pretty killer payrate per HIT.

I understand that. I'm saying that the point is to get them to agree with you. If they do without a negotiation, you win. You can't force it if you both agree from the start. If they agree to your best selection, they are the ones not doing their part because your best choice won't be the highest scoring for them. You may be right. IDK.
