Good news! My SO just got her account totally approved today! She just has to go through the ten day probation! Wooooohooo!!

Any good beginner hits to get her started?

Hubpages qual HITs, there's 15 more HITs. I think they might have an initial qual you need to have issued to access those? Check the Qual tab.

Remember she can do 100 HITs per day including expired/returned. It's probably a good idea for you to check HITs as you're scraping and send any her way with "None" quals on them. Without old stalwarts like 411Richmond, VQ, etc., it might be a bit of a pain for her to get to 100 ASAP but after she passes 100 approved it should get easier. Get scripts and extensions set up while waiting for pandas to roll in.

I caught one, I tried working on it, and it submitted while I was entering the total.
I don't know if they have some shortcuts set up, but numpad7 submitted the hit before I was done.


anyway, I"m expecting another rejection.

it's been a bad couple of months, especially since four of my 6 rejections were from requesters that said they can't reverse them because they were individually managed? or maybe the opposite, I don't know. all of them paid me through bonus, but the rejections have not been removed. then another rejection from not filling out the example/samples of a long hit, and another rejection from someone who said "sorry, I didn't set up my survey correctly"

She didn't say much the whole time of 2 hrs. Don't know if she was just that shy or disinterested. I would ask a question and she would respond with less than a sentence answers and hardly any follow ups. Kind of felt like I was on a date with a brick wall tonight. And now I feel like I did something wrong. Like there was something I did or said for her to hardly talk tonight

It happens. I once went on a date with some student girl who had returned to the states after living in Germany for a number of years. Brick wall. Small talk went nowhere, trying to initiate something a little deeper for conversation went even worse. Sometimes people don't mesh outside of internet chatter.

Don't see it as a failure on your part, and just move on with your bad self.

That guy was doing some sort of transcription hit and the English in the review appears to be ESL.
