Without getting into the nitty gritty of your personal situation, estimate 15% of how much you think you'll earn on mturk in the year from 2017. That's roughly how much you'll owe in taxes. Then it's up to you to figure out how much of that is offset by taxes withheld at your other jobAlso quick question, so I've read through some of the tax stuff on here but ok. I didn't file taxes for mturk last year because it was like $60 I think and yeah I probably should've but that's water under the bridge now anyway
I only had part time jobs last year, this year is my first full time job and so I should be getting back a considerable amount. My sister made like 50 cents more than me last year and she got like $5-6k back and yeah she has the EIC but I get $1k additionally for school so at the least I'm looking at over a grand back. So far I've earned $541.81 in 2017 (and that's since I joined this forum in April so go me!). Do I need to set aside money to pay tax on that or will it just come out of what I get back and also what is the percentage because uh, I need my income tax money for a car :sob:
