I feel like at least part of it is the turkopticon scripts. Their server drags ass and takes our work pages with it.

I turned off all scripts one day and mturk took just as long to load. It's been going on for a while now, slowly getting worse as time goes on. And I turk from two different computers with two different internet access, so it's not just the computer or one ISP.

They're doing it on purpose!
