The longer you are here the more you will learn about the various turking habits on the board. It's easy for someone like Squatty or myself to be choosy with what we work on because we 'turk for fun' (and that's sometimes frowned upon). There are others who need to hustle for every penny and nickel and I really admire them for being here.

I am of the school of thought that you need to do and work on the HITs that you can if it's imperative you make 'x' amt of dollars to survive. I'm sure you don't have a money tree planted in the back and since Ed McMahon is dead ... no publisher's clearing house check for you

That's part of being here as well ... learn the tips and tricks to find the better HITs, the scripts, the programs to use, etc. Next time Pins drop ... just knowing that lil trick will increase your $$/hr.

It takes time and turking is largely self-taught ... so put yourself out there and find out as much as you can.

I went to a birthday party and my crush was there and I was sociable and funny, and hung out with everyone, and all of my jokes landed well and I made her laugh a bunch of times and she'd throw sly looks my way. I was on top of the world.

This was in middle school in the 90's btw. I peaked early.

I rotate which meats I get every time I go pretty much (everything else stays the same) to keep the workers on their toes

It's pretty mediocre. I would never get it as a stand alone item, but it's not the worst to occasionally half and half it with a superior meat like chicken/steak
