I was prescribed it for a month before I said lets not do this anymore. At the end I knew that my freezer was the first place I should check for my keys if I took Ambien the night before.

Yep, that's about how long they had me on it and the shenans just got weirder until they finally took me off of it. It didn't help that I was 15 and teenage brains are already a strange place without a medication that dissolves inhibitions.

And if it makes you feel any better, I lost my phone in the cheese drawer for about two weeks last year without Ambien. (I get really excited when I see cheese.)
