Much has changed since those days. I45 used to overpass 1960. They dug a bowl there, and 1960 goes below ground under 1960. There's a salt grass steak house over there. I don't remember Victor's, but it's not there anymore.

That is different. I know the last time i was there I couldn't find my way around any more. So much building thanks to Exxon but I understand they did too much and things didn't work out as planned. I saw the demolition videos at Houston Press. So much gone. Downtown Foley's etc., They say there's a lot more building planned but no one to fill the apts because of what happened with oil. But they are going to build anyway because if you build it they might come. I remember when Edd Hendee sank his plane on 59. that was some plane crash. Taste of Texas still has the best steaks.
