I bought a HP Pro i7 Quad core that I have at a desk upstairs and use just for Turking. That processor makes my old dual core seem so slow. I have a Quad Core i7 Mac Mini thats in my studio but I gots to have my Macbook Pro. And they do hold their value a helluva lot better than Windows Lappys

To me, laptops, in general, are a bad deal. I could never myself bring myself to buy a laptop because I built my own computer and I'd have to spend upwards of 5000$ to even come close to the performance in this. but, if your happy with what you have then why not. Besides, I live at my desk and I couldn't work as focused on a laptop.

Edit: It should also be noted that I am a pc gamer and not a content creator.

Geez... how many interviews does Bass Pro Shop do?
My hubby has a 3rd interview tomorrow morning... pretty sure that means he got the job right? Wonder why so many interviews for a retail store... has it really been that long since I've interviewed for a job?

I have a 2012 Mac Mini That has been running since the day I bought it in June of 2012 24/7 in 80 degrees as a Video Server for 5 people, It has over 8TB of movies on it and is hammered day and night. The only problem I have had with it is I had to replace the hard drive because it hit 800,000 start operations and most HD's are only good for 600,000. It had no errors I just replaced it as a Maintenance thing. I cannot think of ANY windows laptop that could pull any where near that level of performance off cause it is basically just a mini desktop made of laptop components. I paid $799 for it

I still do consulting and design server infrastructure design occasionally so I need a decent laptop to carry with me

The following pictures were recorded by cameras worn on babies’ heads. For some of these pictures, the baby does not seem to be looking at anything in particular. Those are the scenes we are interested in. We will call these scenes NM for nothing much. Your task is to help us find NM scenes
