Serious question for all the pros on here.

This is my first full month of using mturk and this is my projected earnings for the month: $1,228.59.

Do you think I will be able to maintain or increase this amount every month?

Do you Mturk all day long? Just curious. I only do it for extra cash, I'm a receptionist so my days are slow. My goal is only to make like $5-$10/day.
I didn't even know it was possible to make that much in a month just from Mturk.

Always be improving yourself and learning new skills and tools. If you like email hunting, find software that does it and get good at using it.
If you do a lot of batches learn AHK or scripting or both, and start making your own scripts.

One thing is when you first start it can be easier to get and do surveys. A lot of them are once in a lifetime, so when you start you can get all of those. MTurk is very variable. Some days/weeks/months are good and others aren't. As you get better stats (5k+) you will find more things open up to you. You really want to look for and get closed quals, they can be more profitable and more reliable, like ocmp5.

A reeeeallly important thing for folks to know is that you're basically freelancing; this is what my life looks like freelance writing, too.

If you need boosts for freelancing, special tools, or even camaraderie, you can check out the freelancer's union or the iww: they've both helped me significantly in terms of getting social access and access to stuff that helps with work.

That's interesting to hear.
I'm going on maternity leave soon and I'm going to try to put in a lot more time with it then I do now. I just figured it was too unreliable to get a decent payout from. I would be so nervous to rely on it as my main source of income.
