You know this study is actually pretty bad, I have already made about 11 bucks on it and I have to work another hour and a half for the rest of it over a 3 week period. Where do they get this 18 dollar an hour rate. It is more like 5 dollars an hour.

Oh I will do it, There is actually 3 of this type of marathon surveys in my account right now and 30 dollars just sitting there, but it is kind of irritating. My own fault for skimming over the instructions too.

well, prolific isn't set up well enough for reading the task descriptions.

so what I do now, is I open the studies page, scroll down to the 'start now'
hold in CTRL and then click it so it opens in a new tab.
I then open the survey, and go back and read the task instructions

I have been a clickworker for about 1 year, I have spammed a few website forums for a few bucks, but Mturk is so much better. This is the only place I can occasionally lay down a 100 dollar day.
