some grocery stores sell pretzel cones that are mediocre at best.
for a real cone though, you need to find an old fashioned mom/pop ice cream shop.
because too many places just find it so much easier to buy multipacks of pretzel cones that are merely ok.

I can't find any near me any more - last place I know of that makes their own cones closed down 8 years ago
I console myself by dipping pretzel sticks into ice cream and pretending they're chop sticks.
...it doesn't work very well, so my tears from broken pretzels end up mixing with my tears from lack of pretzel cone.
