What do you use it for? Do you find it useful? I don't "need" it obviously, but seems cool.

It's not really something you "need" for sure, we got them for Christmas for fun. I mainly ask it the weather, ask it to set a timer when I'm cooking, sometimes play music, things like that. You can have it set reminders and make shopping lists and even order stuff for you but I haven't gotten that far. If we get other "smart" things in the future like lights, thermostat, TV, etc., you can use it to control all of that. People code new things for it to do all the time and you can tell it to "learn" those things though, so uses for it are always growing.

ETA: Oh, also I like to ask it to play cat sounds and other animal sounds to confuse my cat.
