My Android phone used to tell me I was late for work, at a job I hadn't worked in months and never told it about. :p
The GPS probably was measuring and taking notes about your daily drive. We had an older model but not ancient Lincoln once that when I drove it to someplace more than once that thing knew the way home. It had a tracking device or something I think that somehow "knew" where we were going.

Maybe try an hourly online job like Appen?
There's a site I used to work for called User Testing. If you qualify, they have you go to websites and talk about your thoughts into a microphone as you browse a web page for about 20 minutes per job, you get paid 10 bucks for each one. It's similar to Mturk in that you need to grab work as soon as it's available. But they have a built in notifier that dings you when something is available. Come to think of it.. why don't I do that anymore. That's a great thing to do while turking. *Goes to sign back up*

So they are buying survey info or did the run the survey where you told them?
I'm really not sure. I must have searched for something about my car at some point.

have you ever bought anything for your car before? I found that Amazon is like a woman and will remember certain information forever
I bought a windshield shade but I didn't say what kind of car I had.

One time Siri started talking in my group therapy session. That was kinda freaky. I guess she knows a lot about all of us now.

I managed to do 38 Pinterests before getting the "Slow Down" message. I've never seen that one before.

People, don't worry about Amazon knowing all of our information. Bezos knows best, and we shouldn't keep secrets from Father.
Are we all in his will? Otherwise..............

I got to 16 before I got throttled. Sometimes these HIT's don't submit and then get thrown into the queue and expire. I think when one expires, you get throttled. Just an educated guess.

A GPS is a tracking device.

That said. The feature you are referencing is a basic algorithm that looks at your regular starting location and uses a basic logic gate with the assumption that most short distance trips are there and back.
