That's because vegetarian jokes are funny. Even vegetarians can't help making them! I was actually raised vegetarian for a while, and then at the age of 8 I tried turkey one thanksgiving and never went back.

If a joke is funny, I'll probably laugh at it, regardless of how personally offensive I find it. What really pisses me off is when I get the same couple jokes every time I say I'm a vegetarian.
