While I agree that those bullet-pointed behaviors suck, I do want to point out that insulting people who have self-banned is uncalled for and rude. It doesn't make them whiners or lazy. It only makes them people who understand that there's no option for deleting their accounts. When someone is SB'd, you can't go to their profile and search their details or posts. I can definitely understand why people my want to have that option if they feel that (for whatever reason) they no longer want to be a member here.

TL;DR: Not everyone fits under your umbrella of judgment. People have their reasons.

Nah not being able to delete a profile on an anonymous forum that can easily be edited to have zero personal information isn't something worth getting dramatic about. It's a personal preference thing that's all. If this was a bank or something with sensitive information than absolutely that's a different issue but on an anonymous forum... Oh no after I leave someone might see the avatar I got from google and the screen name that is clearly not my real name - How horrible!

**the idea of people bored enough to look through my old posts on forums I abandoned years ago does amuse me though. I'm sure I've posted enough cringey, weird, funny or nonsensical stuff over the past 20 years to entertain people who enjoy reading the old posts of strangers
