Nah not being able to delete a profile on an anonymous forum that can easily be edited to have zero personal information isn't something worth getting dramatic about. It's a personal preference thing that's all. If this was a bank or something with sensitive information than absolutely that's a different issue but on an anonymous forum... I'm not sure that I see the drama in quietly asking a mod to enact the SB to protect ones info. There is drama in calling those people names and most of the content in this reply of yours, however. I find that interestingly telling. It is indeed a personal preference, and the people who SB'd have different preferences than you. That's kind of how preferences work..they're multi-faceted rather than one-sided.

It may not even be about that. There are various (and sometimes personal) reasons why someone may want their account banned. Some posters may just not want the option to be able to log in right now ... for whatever reason. My ability to ignore some events, places and even people is stronger than others. I can respect that.
