Fully agree with this. There is a big difference between getting 30 minutes into a survey and having part be broken and needing to submit/email the requester before the timer runs out, and a situation where a batch has a broken radio button yet someone decides to submit 100 of them anyway.

For what it's worth here's my personal policy when it comes to broken surveys. The only time I use the time estimate provided by the survey is to gauge how far I am in a broken survey. If I'm more than a third of the way through and it breaks I'll email the requester and submit it before it expires. Otherwise I'll throw it back. No real reason for it, just how I rationalize it.
