All hospice people should be canonized.

At least treated with more respect than I have seen some people give in the past. I agree it takes a special breed of human to do the job they do.

I'll never forget my Gramma's hospice nurse, she was super nice and her name was Jetta. (And she had black hair.)

This is how I got into nursing actually. My first medical job when I was 18 (untrained) was with hospice - to sit with those who were dying (in a hospital) and had no family, so they wouldn't be alone.

Hospice nurses are an amazing breed ... the love and compassion they have is endless
