i met my monthly goal again this month, but i never feel like i have enough money

I hit my weekly goal on Wednesday so everything from here is a bonus. Yet I still feel like I'm struggling.

The southwest is having a heat wave into August... even those of y'all that aren't desert dwellers.... :/

I saw a weatherman put up the "averages" for July the other night. For all but 2 days we have been above average this month, and not one of the days had a temp below 90, which is very unusual.

No wonder half of the plants in my yard are dead despite me trying to keep them watered!

that's disgusting

eh. could be much much worse. At least I'm not in the desert SW. I'm a native Texan and have seen hotter summers with longer streaks of 100 degree days but you learn how to deal with it pretty easily. get all your errands done early in the morning or later at night. if you plan on doing anything outside during the day bring a TON of sunscreen and drink water constantly, don't change your A/C temps because much more than 20 degrees difference can kill your unit especially in these temps. Go to a mall or movie or something during the midday. Pretty easy to deal with mostly. Just annoying.
