I don't know why people watch them. I get why people make them. It's the same reason people take pictures of their food or update their Facebook status 20 times a day.Why the hell would anyone want to watch or make an unboxing video? I just don't get the appeal.
I watch them sometimes. Its a pretty good method for impulse control. Some people might want the thrill of lets say, opening a pack of original pokemon cards but dont want to pay $55 for the experience. By watching someone elses video, you get the experience (kind of) without wasting your money. I hope that kind of explains it. It is a great way to mediate that urge by watching someone else do it.Why the hell would anyone want to watch or make an unboxing video? I just don't get the appeal.
This. Especially useful if it's a subscription box. More often than not, the website doesn't show you the full contents. Helps me decide if I want to buy it or not.*thinks unboxing videos are useful to see products you want more info on*
Agree when they have useful reviews not just OOH! look what I got.*thinks unboxing videos are useful to see products you want more info on*
