If you want a more reasonable scheme, you could try to earn more than your average over the last 45 days, instead of trying to beat the day you had 45 days ago. Or, to get more technical, on weekdays beat the average weekday over your last 45 days and the same for weekends. That way you'll always be pushing your earnings average upwards but be less subject to the whims of mturk on a daily basis in terms of your goal.

But I don't recommend either of those, and just suggest working very, very hard if good things post and not so hard if they don't.

I actually thought about that too. Divided my last 45 days and saw my average earlier. Trust me, I'm working hard no matter what. Savoring every dime the last few months.
