Hello everyone, hope you are all having an excellent night. I've been debating quitting Turk again in a few weeks, but I'm not so sure I want to do without the money. If that's what I decide to do, I would like to thank everyone for every contribution made to this forum. It is a bit hard sometimes to find motivation to keep working but seeing everyone helping each other out really helps find my mojo again. I'm of the belief that this forum is the best Turk forum out there. Anyway, cya on the grind tomorrow

I can easily see how people get burned out when they are on here so much.
I think it's important to take a break, whether that break is the weekends, or a week off every now and then.
I'm not on here during regular business hours, but I know that many people spend eight or more hours on the mturk per day, for multiple days.
I could only do that for a few days before feeling burnt out.

I mean, I need money, everyone can use some extra dollars.. but after a while it feels like it's taking more effort than it should.
so I guess I'm glad I'm only here a few hours per day

I know this post is a few hours old, but it is slow...anecdotally, it seems like a good few folks are feeling turking burnout right now. I know I am. This weekend will be the first time in several months that I will have completed zero HITs It's a slow time of the year for mturk and there are days when I simply do not want to try to squeeze blood from stone. Nothing wrong with taking a break here and there.

Also, I know I am a broken record about this, but when things are slow it is a great time to backup your scripts, db, and browser settings, clean up your HD, learn JavaScript to help with turking, work on other sites/projects, or pursue your other interests. Value your time, others won't do it for you.
