See that's why I'm worried about getting chickens. cause I know when they stop laying they are for boiling. I don't know if I could. I eat meat, I've hunted; but if I raised them? That might be a bit harder.

It's hard, I can't do it. When we were kids every time we had a calf my mom would say "elizabeth don't go down there and name that cow" but I always did and would cry when I would see it was gone, I knew what that meant. I eat alot of deer meat and no issue with it but when it's something I have raised, just can't do it. They either stay or go off to be bred.
