AND I may be looking to buy a laptop over the next few days if anyone has any suggestions on a good one? Reqs are good for turking, under $400 (maaaybe up to $500), SSD. Prefer but don't require a backlit keyboard.

good idea/bad idea?

Just keep in mind if you're going to run multiple instances of HS/HF, PC and other things (and especially if you're planning on using a second monitor), don't go cheap. I know the conventional wisdom was that Turk doesn't require much but it *will* start choking if you run too much at once on a low-end (or dare I say mid-end) machine.
