Fingers crossed that he continues to make a solid recovery. Just make sure you and yours don't get too down about the medical bills. They can seem scary, but with most hospitals so long as they're getting SOME money (Minimum payment, so on), that's usually enough. You'll get letters and the likes of course, but far better than the alternative.

The good news is, he worked for a very well known company and has great insurance. How much they cover, though, and how long...since he can't work there anymore due to the nature of the business and his lungs now being so bad, I don't know. I don't know how that stuff works. It's because he had such good insurance through the company that they got him that crazy bed thing he was in that saved his life in the first place.
