Opposite for me. With the epidural all I felt was my face. I couldn't move or feel anything from the neck down. They're gonna do skin to skin and nursing as soon as she's born, so I'm hoping they'll put it a little lower down so I can feel my arms. Otherwise I'll be too afraid to have her on my chest :/

I couldn't hold my first after the epi, either. But, I was still able to nurse! With help. I had to be flat on my back for like 3 hours after giving birth.

I'll PM you link to the pic of how we accomplished it
