I was the same way, totally numb. They had to tell me when I was having contractions and when to push and I didn't really want to hold her straight afterward because I felt like a pile of jelly. Now I'm about 8 weeks from girl #2's arrival and I'm wondering if that's going to happen again. My hospital is also a skin to skin place.

Update: After an hour of airing out outside and a few generous sprays of SHimmer Febreze (idk what the heck smell shimmer is but whatevs) my purse now smells fine. Happy way early birthday to me,
