Hey everyone!

I've been browsing the forum for a little over the week, figured i'd finally create an account and say hello! I was recently a teacher, but unfortunately I got excessed in June due to low enrollment of the preschool program I was teaching at.. It's unfortunate, but it's okay. It's hard to find another teaching job here in NY, so I figured i'd Turk for awhile (I used to Turk years ago before I started teaching).

There's an armadillo in Cypress Creek on a floating pile of trash. For real, the video is up.

sad, when I see the rescue workers rescuing the dogs or the owners carrying them, it is just really sad. What do cats do? Probably a bunch of cats up in the trees, if they made it.

The poor thing. Maybe he'll still be sitting there when the water goes down and he can just crawl back onto land. They said they learned a lesson from Katrina and that was to allow people to bring their pets to the shelters because it didn't work out too well in New Orleans when they didn't allow it.
