Ugh. My cat ate through a bag of these the other day. I won't go into more detail but I'm never buying them again.
Yeah, I have to keep them locked up, otherwise my cats try to eat the bags while I'm sleeping.

wait
shouldn't it be the opposite?

if your body is always running a little lower temperature, you always feel warmer than other people
when we feel hot or cold, it is largely nothing more than a comparison of our own skin and the surrounding area
for example, someone who is overdosing on aspirin may sink down to the mid90s range, and feel extremely hot, even in winter, causing them to go without a shirt/jacket

I think you were cold because the temperature was lower, the air was moist, and therefore the temperature is easier to manipulate (through a liquid) than through the gaseous state of dry air. the moist air attempts to bring your body temperature to the same as the moist air itself
No clue my doc always said I was cold all the time because my core was colder. I am cold all the time, literally. I need it to be over 90 with the nice midwest humidity to even feel slightly warm. 87 today and I have on jeans and a hoodie, this is normal for me.

heh, I live with the opposite problem. I'm always hot. summers are terrible. I don't wear shorts in winter when it's snowing, but if it's not snowing, i probably go without a jacket, sometimes short sleeves, but usually long sleeve shirts

but

my age is catching up to me

at least twice this summer I draped a sheet over my legs as I sat at the desk working online - instead of redirecting the four fans and the ac vent's box (a shoe box I made with an angled inside cardboard piece so that the ac air doesn't go straight up into the window to be heated up by the sun

Hmmm now sure which would be better. I have a little heater I use at home all the time so everyone doesn't fry. If I am warm I know most people are about to die from the heat.

"Rats are gross."

- Vanyanka @Vanyanka
that's a virginia opossum, and one of the animals that is most beneficial for humans - they eat so many disease bearing ticks and other pests and prevent some exposure to us
