I don't know for sure that there is actually anything that really helps with captchas. I (when I didn't have masters) just bookmarked something that always had hits up (Brelig, Copytext etc) and hit one of them when the captcha noise happened.

Although I guess the captcha alert script would be helpful if you don't have that. Plus that script what's his face linked
