Submitting it. They had the place to put the code, I plopped it on it and clicked their submit button to turn in the task. BAM that shit.

Maybe it's due to mturk being wonky, and it errored on submitting it, then when it reloaded it showed on the requester's end that you already did it?

I called and he said he had no way of knowing why. To try to upload it again which I already had. He also had me call my bank and ensure that my bank uses the same account number through ACH. Ughh. I have no idea, but would really like to be able to access my money, I really don't want it all payable in amazon gift card form, I can't even buy giftcards with it to flip.

Probably not. Unless you have the script that records the time spent on the hit. But not sure the gov't would accept that.

Ask them how they want you to prove your hours when you're self employed.

You could put a camera on yourself for a month straight showing yourself banging your head on the keyboard. They'll feel super bad and give you all the food stamps. Because this shit is truly tragic.

So they don't understand "self-employed".

Yeah, basically. I think it was some kind of recent change cause I was on them for two years (two renewals) and the third renewal they said "something" had changed and my previous proof of income wouldn't work anymore. I think it's been another year or so since I tried, so it could have feasibly changed again but I sort of doubt they made it easier.

You should keep bothering them until they tell you just how they expect you or anyone else who doesn't technically get paid hourly to prove their hours. How would, say a farmer prove their hours? All that should really matter is what you have in the bank. This hour minimum crap just seems like a way to make it harder for people to get accepted for gov assistance.

I have a relative who does. The office in his area accepts his Amazon payments monthly statements as income, and as long as it stays within ($amount/30 hrs = at least whatever minimum wage would be), they accept it.
