I know that feel.. I mean I've only been on the train since book three but I get it.. But like I mentioned earlier I love rereading this series lol

Not to mention book 4 aka "here is an entire book dedicated to the entire B list roster". Lets be honest I skip most of Sansas chapters, you are boring Sansa nobody likes you. The only four things anybody cares about at this point is 1: Does John Snow somehow round about become king and or warden of the north while 2. Does Darnassus Targaryen invade the @$(*@$ out of westerious with dragons and save them from all the that "beyond the wall" that "is coming" 3. WHAT IN THE !$&!*)$ HAPPENED TO ZOMBIE CATYLN STARK 4: Does Arya murder everybody on her list.... Seriously just wrap up the Stark/Targaryen/Lannister main story line and then side story everything else.

Most of his time is spent on continuity editing though. He might have 1/5 of the book written theoretically but all that has to be checked and rechecked to make sure he doesn't miss those little errors like a skinny girl getting wider hips or a horse suddenly being a different gender. That kind of thing is a huge deal when you have a fandom that will tear every single little thing apart and come up with time traveling fetuses and shit

Lol I know. I know I will love the next book when it comes out too, whenever that may be. One thing I wish I could ask George is for someone to edit misspellings better. It seemed like books 1-4 had close to none, whereas book 5 was riddled with them. I can deal with a horse changing gender (mainly because I won't remember), or a woman possibly having larger hips (because the chapters are based on the characters viewpoint, and could be dismissed as that character seeing larger hips), but misspellings just completely lift me out of the story.
