I noticed several years after my first stroke that I appeared to have a hyperacusis to some music. It's an adverse reaction that causes physical pain when I hear certain noises.

There are several problems with it.

I never know what will cause pain or when, or how bad

And just hearing patterns like fingers drumming on a desk, rain hitting the window, etc.. My imagination might make music out of nothing, and sometimes that causes enough pain to vomit

Boy, that is tough for you. I have problems not finger pounding music patterns out of the windshield wiper beat. Can't be helped. Hmm, nor would I want it to I guess.
