I'm going to make a desk that I can adjust to stand up when grinding for hours.... I am a carpenter but just have not got around to it. I've only had this plan for 2.5 ish years so it is still in the early stages of the process...

it took my ex that long to execute any sort of carpentry work. Though he built like four different desks (IT guy work from home.) It was exhausting to watch.

I can confirm that the very expensive Herman Miller Classic Aeron Task Chair is awesome. We had those at my last corporate job and I could sit in them for hours and not want to get up. Most didn't start failing until almost 20 years old, out of around 5000 total chairs.

Yeah, that's the "super fancy" chair I linked. I think it's a steal for $525.
