It feels like if you get scratched with something sting-y
Like...lemon juice on a cut sting, or winged harbingers of doom (wasps, etc.) sting..?
It isn't the pain that scares me just childhood drama trauma. I went with a friend who got one and nope'd out. Can't even watch! But I'm ok without one. Yours sounds awesome though and I love looking at tats. There are some beauties out there.
Makes sense that it would freak you out, actually. My dad's afraid of needles and fainted when I had to have blood drawn as a kid. And thankies.
I meant in comparison to the book.
Fair enough.

When I got my first tattoo I was working in lawn & garden (during the summer) at walmart. Went in the next day and my boss was congratulating me for something and slapped me on the back...right on top of my sweaty, stinging, burning tattoo. I shrieked and scared the hell out of him.

like lemon juice on a cut sting.

I think 'winged harbingers of doom' is the best description of a wasp ever.
Depending on where you get your tat depends on how bad it hurts. The one on my back just felt like annoying ant stings (NOT like fire ants) on some parts and tickled on others. However, the one on the inside of my wrist hurt like B*TCH and I swear they were sawing off my wrist!!! I've also heard the top of your foot hurts pretty bad too.

Hopefully that Vanderbilt game at 6 tonight isn't as confusing as the email was. Maybe I need another cup of coffee. Not awake yet

In that case, I think I'll manage. And that's what they are! Yellow jackets, too. There's a nest of them on my porch (that I'm not F'in with) and they keep taunting me by head-butting the glass door and making nefarious bzzzt sounds that clearly mean they want to murder my face.
OMg it's my minks!!! How are you sugar?
Hiya! :blueheart: I've seen better days, but I've seen worse days, too. How are you?

Thank you for that info. It seems I may need to rethink the placement. My fins are hella sensitive in the first place..

Fair enough.
I was rereading the earlier statement and I realized I typed "movie" when I was referencing the TV show mentioned in the post i was replying to. Sorry about that. The movie was good and a real soul puncher (still not as deep and involved as teh book, but most movies rarely are).
