Better than Vol.1. However, its a tough comparison since Vol.1 was good, but Vol.2 did a great job on carrying the story.

I agree I couldn't get into Vol.1 it seemed to go along slow but Vol. 2 did pull it all together nicely and did a great job making you emotionally connect with the characters.

Vol. 1 was slow. Fell asleep the first time watching the movie. However, the 2nd, 3rd, and more viewings changed my mind (after watching Vol. 2.) Vol. 1 did lay a nice foundation for Vol. 2 to follow. Yondu Udonta really made me think about Vol. 1 and why the relationship was the way it was with Starlord. Very emotionally connected. Well said!
