I know this is a very noob question, but if a HIT expires, can you accept it again once it shows back up?

edit: Just got my answer, apparently you can? I thought you couldn't, but I just accepted a HIT that had expired on me earlier tonight

wow. i finish a 30 min survey with 3 min left, enter the code, it says the time for this has expired. ??
so i find the email address listed, start an email,
take a quick screen shot of the code, the time showing that's left, paste it in paint,
drop my mouse, lean to pick it up, lean on the power button, shut everything off, lose the screen shot,
and somehow have my daughters large cup of root beer pour down my back, which I still don't understand.
So I emailed anyway, at least that saved in a draft, w/ no proof of anything and a ridiculous story.
I don't think that $1 was worth it.
