Yeah pretty much, I've been fairly unmotivated the past few days honestly. I've got 4.5 in the queue, I'll probably get to those tomorrow though. I'm eager for things to get back running full throttle, want to see if I can break the old 160 PE record at some point this year.

It would be neat if we managed to get someone from Amazon to say hi to us in some other form than suspending us. There's a few things that interest me in what they said, mainly that my emails are outdated. A lot of the people I give those to message back a day or two later and say they got the suspension removed. Who knows if they actually do anything? My theory is that they do, but the people behind them are starting to get annoyed some random person got their email and is asking to get their suspension removed... so maybe they sent someone out to find the source? I'm also tired and feeling a bit tin-foily, so that might be the better explanation..

Also, is there some blog out there that c/ped my thread?

Yes, it really would be nice to have a bit more info. I'm very curious about what you're able to find out from this person.

Well my experiment today did show me a lot. I spent 3 1/2 hours actually sitting at my desk using my three monitors, and made about $30 between mturk and other stuff (not great)... since then I've farted around and only made about $8 more in almost 5 hours. well i was asleep for like an hour. and made dinner. but yeah, i'm trying to actually have hours on and off turking instead of being here all day/night because yeah, most of the $$$ is during the day. i'm sure there's exceptions but was it worth doing all this bullshit hits for another $8? nah, i could have been playing games or cleaning or something

That's usually my problem is missing prime hours, but its more work related. Though I can't complain too much considering the raises scheduled over the next six months.

I have around 150 suspension emails piled up from all the people who have messaged me since I first created that thread.

I remember electrolyte mentioning she met up with someone who worked at turk in 2017, and she mentioned that the rep claimed they were going to be more transparent in their reasoning for suspensions. The 150 emails I have show absolutely anything but that. So that would be my first question, asking why they never implemented the measures they ensured were going to be implemented.

That's pretty typical of how MTurk has always been. It doesn't ever seem like everybody over there is on the same page. It's why we still don't have a good idea of how blocks even work because there have been so many instances of Amazon employees contradicting each other when discussing them. It's really unfortunate, especially for those of us that depend on this platform to make a living.

I risked it. I know there are some cruddy people out there, but so far I haven't received a rejection for submitting my worker ID and messaging the requester explaining I wasn't given a code.
